During a decade as an event service manager and sales director at Birmingham’s Harbert Center, Chandrel Wright-Richardson has soaked in business knowledge from dozens of luncheon keynote speakers.
And it’s come in handy. This week, the Birmingham native became the new executive director of the meeting facility at 2019 Fourth Ave. North.
“This is something I’ve worked toward for 10 years here,” Wright-Richardson said. “I’ve become a self-proclaimed phrase collector while listening to the various leaders who have spoken here. I’m excited to be able to put that knowledge to work.”
